About MPR2

In 2009, two emergency management colleagues working for a large healthcare system formed the concept of MPR2. The MPR2 team has over 60 years of combined experience in emergency management.  The two founders, having served as Hospital Emergency Manager, System Director of Emergency Management and Co-chair for the Regional Healthcare Coalition, are ready to share their emergency management experience, to aid your preparedness program.  Their FEMA Master Exercise Practitioners (MEP) certification, Advanced Practice Providers (APP) and first responder experience, along with a Master’s degree in Disaster Medicine and Management, allow them to apply their emergency management expertise across all industries. The MPR2 team has a passion for helping healthcare, business and educational institutions keep their people and businesses safe through emergency management practices, by meeting regulatory compliance and creating self-sustaining preparedness programs.


Our combined education includes:

  • Master’s degree in Disaster Medicine and Management

  • Certified Healthcare Emergency Professional (CHEP)

  • Certified Emergency Disaster Professional (CHEDP)

  • FEMA Master Exercise Practitioner (MEP)

  • Certified Hospital Emergency Coordinator (CHEC III)

  • Clinical experience in the Emergency Medical Service Industry as Paramedics and Physician Assistants

  • Countless Emergency Management Institution courses

  • Psychological first aid and the Development of Critical Incident Response Teams


More than 60 years of emergency management experience with countless exercises and real-world response backgrounds, MPR2 staff have a true passion to help clients achieve personal and corporate sustainability. Our experience includes responding to internal and external disasters such as:
